Zucchini with Olive Oil

- 4 medium zucchinis washed and cut
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Juice of half a lemon optional
- A pinch of red pepper flakes
Wash the zucchinis well and cut them into slices or sticks of the same size.
In a pan over medium heat, add the olive oil and the minced garlic. Sauté for about one minute until the garlic is fragrant.
Add the zucchini slices to the pan and toss them well with the garlic and olive oil.
Add the salt, black pepper, and oregano. Continue to stir the zucchini occasionally until they become tender and slightly golden, for about 5-7 minutes.
Once the zucchini is cooked, remove the pan from the heat.
Add the lemon juice and a pinch of red pepper flakes for a fresh and spicy flavor. Serve the zucchini hot.
