Vermicelli Rice

- 3 cups Long-Grain Rice
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1 small cup Vermicelli
- Salt to taste
- 6 cups Hot Water
Soak the rice for 60 minutes.
Wash the rice well with water and drain it.
Heat the oil in a pot over the fire, add the vermicelli, and fry it until it turns golden brown.
Add the rice to the vermicelli, stir it, sprinkle the salt, and then pour in the boiling water.
Cover the pot. When you notice the rice has absorbed the water, leave the rice on low heat until it cooks, stirring the rice gently. Serve hot.
