Quinoa for Diet
Quinoa is a grain that contains all the essential amino acids the body needs, making it a complete protein.

- 1 cup quinoa grains
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups hot water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Rinse the quinoa well under running water, then drain it.
Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the quinoa grains and stir them for about one minute.
Pour in the hot water and sprinkle the salt. Cover the pot and let the quinoa cook on low heat for about 15 minutes until it is done.
Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.
Transfer the quinoa to a serving dish and serve it hot.
