Oatmeal with Milk
This meal provides you with the necessary energy to start your day and also helps regulate your blood sugar levels.

- Oats: ½ cup whole grain
- Milk: 1 cup low-fat
- Honey: ½ teaspoon
- Berries: ¼ cup
- Cinnamon: A pinch ground
In a small pot, combine the oats and milk. Place the pot over medium heat, stirring the mixture constantly until it begins to boil.
Reduce the heat to low and continue stirring for 5 minutes until the oats absorb the liquid and become soft and creamy. If the mixture becomes too thick, you can add a little warm water or milk.
Once the oats are cooked, remove the pot from the heat, add the honey, and stir well.
Pour the oatmeal into a serving bowl, top with fresh fruit like berries or a sprinkle of cinnamon just before serving, and enjoy it warm.
