Lentil Bread

If you are trying to lose weight in a healthy way, here are the steps to make and serve lentil bread

Ingredients
  

  • Yellow lentils: 1 cup
  • Water: 1.5 cups
  • Turmeric: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: ¼ teaspoon

Instructions
 

  • Soak the yellow lentils in water for one hour.
  • Place the lentils and water into a blender, and add the salt and turmeric.
  • Blend the ingredients well until you have a smooth batter.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with a little oil.
  • Pour about 3 tablespoons of the lentil batter into the pan. Cook for about 2 minutes until the top is set and the bottom turns golden brown.
  • Flip the bread over and let it cook for one minute until the other side is golden brown.
  • Place the lentil bread on a plate and repeat the process until all the batter is used.
  • Serve the lentil bread with low-fat yogurt or vegetables for breakfast or dinner.
