Kunafa Fingers with Cheese

- 500 grams kunafa dough kataifi/shredded phyllo
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup Akkawi cheese shredded
- 2 tablespoons crushed pistachios
- Vegetable oil as needed
- 1 cup honey for sweetening
To prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese, Akkawi cheese, and pistachios until the ingredients are well combined.
Spread a small amount of the kunafa dough on a work surface. Place about one teaspoon of the cheese filling on it and roll it up.
Repeat the previous step until all the dough and filling are used.
Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Fry the kunafa fingers until golden brown. Alternatively, you can bake them in an oven tray until browned on all sides.
Place the kunafa fingers on a serving plate, drizzle with honey, and serve.
