Ingredients
  

  • Chicken Breast: 500 grams cut into thin strips
  • Lemon Juice: from 1 large lemon
  • Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin: 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon smoked
  • Red Chili Powder: 1/4 teaspoon or to taste
  • Salt: a pinch
  • Black Pepper: a pinch
  • Onion: 1 large sliced
  • Bell Pepper: 2 large red and yellow, sliced
  • Tortilla Wraps: as needed whole wheat, for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the chicken strips with lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat a non-stick pan.
  • Sauté the sliced onion and bell peppers until they soften slightly and become tender.
  • Add the marinated chicken strips to the vegetables and stir-fry until the chicken is completely cooked and golden.
  • Serve the fajitas hot with whole wheat tortilla wraps.
