Baked Potatoes for Diet

Baked potatoes are a healthy food that is perfect for diet meals

Ingredients
  

  • Potatoes: 4 cut into thick slices or scored with a few slits
  • Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Rosemary: 1 teaspoon
  • Thyme: ½ teaspoon
  • Salt: to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F).
  • Bring a generous amount of water to a boil in a pot over medium heat, then turn off the heat.
  • Add the potato slices, season with salt, and let the potatoes soak in the hot water for two minutes.
  • Drain the potato slices and place them in a bowl.
  • In a second bowl, mix the lemon juice, oil, rosemary, thyme, and salt.
  • Add the marinade mixture to the potato slices and stir until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Spread the marinated potatoes on a baking tray.
  • Place the tray in the middle rack of the oven for 25 minutes, until the potatoes are cooked through.
  • Remove the tray from the oven and serve the potatoes immediately.
