Add the potato slices, season with salt, and let the potatoes soak in the hot water for two minutes.

Add the marinade mixture to the potato slices and stir until the ingredients are well combined.
Spread the marinated potatoes on a baking tray.
Place the tray in the middle rack of the oven for 25 minutes, until the potatoes are cooked through.
Remove the tray from the oven and serve the potatoes immediately.
