Vermicelli Rice is a dish prepared by adding a thin, short type of ready-made pasta, known as “vermicelli,” to the rice during cooking. The vermicelli enhances the delicious taste of the rice & gives it a soft texture and a beautiful golden color.

Ingredients
- 3 cups Long-Grain Rice
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1 small cup Vermicelli
- Salt to taste
- 6 cups Hot Water
Instructions
- Soak the rice for 60 minutes.
- Wash the rice well with water and drain it.
- Heat the oil in a pot over the fire, add the vermicelli, and fry it until it turns golden brown.
- Add the rice to the vermicelli, stir it, sprinkle the salt, and then pour in the boiling water.
- Cover the pot. When you notice the rice has absorbed the water, leave the rice on low heat until it cooks, stirring the rice gently. Serve hot.
