Spiced Bulgur with Grilled Chicken
Bulgur with chicken is a very healthy meal because it has countless benefits. Bulgur is cracked wheat grains, a complete food that can be used as a substitute for rice.
Ingredients
- Olive Oil: 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Breast: 4 breasts cut into thin slices
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Black Pepper: ¼ teaspoon
- Bulgur: 1 ¼ cups coarse
- Garlic: 2 cloves crushed
- Chicken Broth: 3 cups
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper, and cook it in the pot for about 10 minutes until it browns and cooks through.
- Add the broth to the pot, then add the bulgur. Reduce the heat, cover the pot, and let it cook for 20 minutes until the bulgur is done.
- Pour the bulgur and chicken into a serving dish and serve it hot with yogurt or salad, as desired.
