Ingredients
  

  • For the Energy Balls:
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup unsalted cashews
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
  • For the Coating:
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 3 tablespoons shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, combine the dates, cashews, shredded coconut, sea salt, cardamom, and orange zest. Process until the ingredients are well mixed and form a sticky dough.
  • In a separate small bowl, mix the orange zest, shredded coconut, and coconut sugar for the coating until combined.
  • Shape the dough into small, equal-sized balls. Roll each ball in the orange-coconut coating until fully covered.
  • Place the energy balls on a serving plate and serve immediately.
