Ingredients

  • 500 grams flour
  • 8 grams salt
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 10 grams yeast
  • 225 grams milk
  • 150 grams soft butter
  • 100 grams raisins
  • 75 grams walnuts
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 grams bread improver
  • Apricot jam as needed (for glazing)

Instructions

  • Knead all the ingredients together except for the butter. Add water gradually until a dough forms. Knead patiently until the dough is smooth, elastic, and has a slightly soft consistency.
  • Add the soft butter and knead until it is fully incorporated and the dough is homogeneous. Then, add the walnuts and raisins.
  • Place the dough in a loaf pan, filling it only one-third of the way up to allow space for it to rise and double in size.
  • Moisten your hands with water and gently shape the dough in the pan. Cover it and let it proof for about 1 to 1.5 hours.
  • Once risen, brush the top with apricot jam for a glossy finish.
  • Bake in the oven until fully cooked and golden brown.
