Chicken Fajitas are one of the most delicious Mexican dishes.
Ingredients
- Chicken Breast: 500 grams cut into thin strips
- Lemon Juice: from 1 large lemon
- Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
- Cumin: 1 teaspoon
- Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon smoked
- Red Chili Powder: 1/4 teaspoon or to taste
- Salt: a pinch
- Black Pepper: a pinch
- Onion: 1 large sliced
- Bell Pepper: 2 large red and yellow, sliced
- Tortilla Wraps: as needed whole wheat, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the chicken strips with lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick pan.
- Sauté the sliced onion and bell peppers until they soften slightly and become tender.
- Add the marinated chicken strips to the vegetables and stir-fry until the chicken is completely cooked and golden.
- Serve the fajitas hot with whole wheat tortilla wraps.
