Lentil Bread
If you are trying to lose weight in a healthy way, here are the steps to make and serve lentil bread
Ingredients
- Yellow lentils: 1 cup
- Water: 1.5 cups
- Turmeric: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: ¼ teaspoon
Instructions
- Soak the yellow lentils in water for one hour.
- Place the lentils and water into a blender, and add the salt and turmeric.
- Blend the ingredients well until you have a smooth batter.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with a little oil.
- Pour about 3 tablespoons of the lentil batter into the pan. Cook for about 2 minutes until the top is set and the bottom turns golden brown.
- Flip the bread over and let it cook for one minute until the other side is golden brown.
- Place the lentil bread on a plate and repeat the process until all the batter is used.
- Serve the lentil bread with low-fat yogurt or vegetables for breakfast or dinner.
