Indian spicy chili paste is a flavorful condiment made from red hot peppers, garlic, and spices. Rich in vitamin C and capsaicin, it helps boost immunity and metabolism. Easy to prepare, it’s perfect for sandwiches, pasta, or as a side dip, and can be stored in a jar in the fridge for later use.
Ingredients
- 1 kg red hot chili peppers
- 3 garlic cloves peeled
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander chopped
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Wash the red chili peppers and remove the seeds.
- Place the garlic and chili peppers in a blender and mix until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into a pot and place it on the stove.
- Add coriander, olive oil, tomato paste, and salt. Stir well.
- Let the mixture cook for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
- Store the chili paste in a clean, dry jar. Seal tightly and keep refrigerated until use.
