Ingredients
  

  • Oats: ½ cup whole grain
  • Milk: 1 cup low-fat
  • Honey: ½ teaspoon
  • Berries: ¼ cup
  • Cinnamon: A pinch ground

Instructions
 

  • In a small pot, combine the oats and milk. Place the pot over medium heat, stirring the mixture constantly until it begins to boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and continue stirring for 5 minutes until the oats absorb the liquid and become soft and creamy. If the mixture becomes too thick, you can add a little warm water or milk.
  • Once the oats are cooked, remove the pot from the heat, add the honey, and stir well.
  • Pour the oatmeal into a serving bowl, top with fresh fruit like berries or a sprinkle of cinnamon just before serving, and enjoy it warm.
