Ingredients
  

  • Dates: ½ cup soft, pitted
  • Oats: ½ cup quick oats
  • Nuts: ½ cup raw
  • Peanut Butter: 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon ground
  • Cardamom: ¼ teaspoon ground
  • Sea Salt: A pinch
  • Warm Water: As needed for soaking and mixing
  • Coconut: As desired shredded, for garnish
  • Cocoa: As desired raw, for garnish
  • Chia Seeds: As desired for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Soak the dates in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain them well.
  • In a food processor, grind the oats and nuts until they form a coarse mixture.
  • Add the pitted dates, peanut butter, cinnamon, cardamom, and a pinch of salt to the food processor. Begin processing the ingredients until well combined.
  • Divide the mixture into your serving bowls.
  • Garnish the top with shredded coconut, chia seeds, or raw cocoa powder. Let the dessert cool completely and set before serving.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until firm. Serve with a cup of coffee.
