To enjoy ice cream while following a diet, it's best to learn how to make your own homemade, diet-friendly version.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Greek yogurt chilled
- 1 cup milk chilled, low-fat
- 1/2 cup milk powder low-fat
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Nuts for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Using an electric mixer, blend the yogurt with the chilled milk and milk powder.
- Add the honey and vanilla extract, and mix again until combined.
- Pour the mixture into a container and place it in the freezer for at least 6 hours, or until firm.
- Scoop the ice cream into serving cups and garnish with nuts if desired.
