Ingredients
- Lamb Meat: 500 grams lean, cut into cubes
- Onion: 1 medium, sliced
- Zucchini: 1 cut into rounds
- Carrot: 1 cut into rounds
- Potato: 1 medium, cut into cubes
- Bell Pepper: 1 sliced
- Garlic: 2 cloves minced
- Mixed Spices: 1 teaspoon
- Black Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric: 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive Oil: 1 tablespoon
- Salt: to taste
- Beef Broth: 1/2 cup
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the meat cubes with the onion, garlic, olive oil, mixed spices, salt, black pepper, and turmeric.
- Arrange the meat mixture and the vegetables (zucchini, carrot, potato, bell pepper) in a baking tray.
- Pour the half cup of beef broth over the tray.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Cover the tray with aluminum foil.
- Place the tray in the oven and bake for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the meat is completely tender.
- After an hour, remove the aluminum foil and let the tray bake for another 15 minutes until the vegetables and meat are lightly browned.
- Serve the tray bake hot with brown rice or brown bread.
