Diet Baklava with Nuts

Baklava is one of the most delicious sweet pastries, made of thin layers of dough filled with nuts & sweetened with honey or syrup. If you love sweets but are worried about weight gain or are diabetic, here is a simple recipe for sugar-free baklava for your diet.

  • Repeat the process until you have used all the dough and walnuts.
  • Arrange the baklava pieces in a baking tray lightly greased with butter. Brush the tops with a little more butter.

  • Bake the baklava for about 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Pour the honey over the top of the hot baklava.
