Ingredients
  

  • Broccoli: 1 cup chopped
  • Spinach: 1 cup chopped
  • Zucchini: 2 cut into cubes
  • Carrots: 2 sliced
  • Potato: 1 medium cut into cubes
  • Onion: 1 medium chopped
  • Garlic: 2 cloves crushed
  • Ginger: 1 teaspoon grated
  • Turmeric: 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: a pinch
  • Black Pepper: a pinch
  • Water: 8 cups
  • Olive Oil: 1 tablespoon

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a deep pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until they soften.
  • Add the zucchini, carrots, and potato. Then add the broccoli and spinach, and stir the ingredients for about 5 minutes.
  • Season with ginger, turmeric, and cumin.
  • Pour the water into the pot and let the mixture come to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat and let the soup simmer gently for about 25 minutes.
  • Carefully transfer the soup to an electric blender and blend until smooth.
  • Return the soup to the pot, season with salt and black pepper, and stir. Let the soup cook on the heat for about 8 more minutes.
  • Ladle the Broccoli Detox Soup into serving bowls and serve hot.
