Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds ground
- ½ cup cocoa powder unsweetened
- ¼ cup sugar substitute
- ¼ cup butter almond butter
- ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Almonds as needed (for garnish - chopped)
- Cocoa powder as needed (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the ground almonds, cocoa powder, sugar substitute, and salt.
- Add the almond butter, cream, and vanilla extract.
- Mix the ingredients well until combined and a cohesive dough forms.
- Shape the dough into small balls, about the size of a teaspoon.
- Roll the balls in the chopped almonds or cocoa powder for coating.
- Place the balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Serve the chocolate balls cold.
