This Keto Chicken Caesar Salad is a perfect dish for anyone following a low-carb diet.
Ingredients
- For the Chicken:
- 500 g chicken breast cut into strips
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons butter at room temperature
- For the Dressing:
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- ½ cup cream cheese
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- For the Salad:
- 1 head of lettuce chopped
- 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
- To prepare the chicken: In a deep bowl, place the chicken strips, olive oil, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Mix the ingredients well until combined. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for about 4 hours.
- Melt the butter in a wide pan over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until completely done, stirring occasionally.
- To prepare the dressing: In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and oregano until well combined.
- Place the chopped lettuce on a serving plate, then arrange the cooked chicken strips on top.
- Pour the prepared dressing evenly over the chicken. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top of the salad and serve.
