Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts skinless, boneless, cut into strips
- 1 cup low-fat yogurt
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger minced
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon sweet red pepper powder paprika
- A pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, minced ginger, curry powder, turmeric, cumin, sweet red pepper powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken pieces in the marinade and make sure they are well coated on all sides.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for a stronger flavor.
- Heat the grill or oven. Take the chicken pieces out of the marinade and place them on the grill.
- Grill on both sides until cooked through and golden brown.
