Ingredients
  

  • Dates: 1 cup pitted
  • Nuts: 1 cup assorted
  • Cocoa Powder: ¼ cup raw
  • Vanilla: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: ¼ teaspoon
  • Water: 3 tablespoons
  • Chocolate Chips: ¼ cup dark
  • Cocoa Powder: as needed for coating

Instructions
 

  • Place the nuts in a food processor and blend well until they become fine.
  • Put the ground nuts in a deep bowl. Add the cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt to them, then mix well until the ingredients are combined.
  • Add the dates, water, and chocolate chips. Then, mix the ingredients well with your hands until you get a consistent dough.
  • Shape the dough into small, equal-sized balls, then coat them completely with cocoa powder.
  • Place the energy balls on a serving plate, then put them in the refrigerator to cool down. Serve chilled.
