Ingredients
- Dates: 1 cup pitted
- Nuts: 1 cup assorted
- Cocoa Powder: ¼ cup raw
- Vanilla: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: ¼ teaspoon
- Water: 3 tablespoons
- Chocolate Chips: ¼ cup dark
- Cocoa Powder: as needed for coating
Instructions
- Place the nuts in a food processor and blend well until they become fine.
- Put the ground nuts in a deep bowl. Add the cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt to them, then mix well until the ingredients are combined.
- Add the dates, water, and chocolate chips. Then, mix the ingredients well with your hands until you get a consistent dough.
- Shape the dough into small, equal-sized balls, then coat them completely with cocoa powder.
- Place the energy balls on a serving plate, then put them in the refrigerator to cool down. Serve chilled.
