Ingredients
  

  • 500 grams Chicken Breast sliced into thin strips
  • 1 container Yogurt fat-free
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Whole Wheat Tortilla Bread as needed
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 Red Onion chopped
  • Pickles sliced, optional

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, season the chicken strips with olive oil, yogurt, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  • Rest the Marinade: Let the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for the best results.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat a grill or pan and add the marinated chicken strips. Cook, stirring, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly browned.
  • Warm the Tortillas: Heat the tortilla bread in a pan or on the grill for a few seconds on each side until warm and flexible.
  • Assemble: Place a portion of the grilled chicken onto each tortilla.
  • Add Toppings: Add the shredded lettuce, chopped red onion, and pickles.
  • Serve: Serve the diet chicken shawarma hot, alongside a green salad and garlic sauce.
